Hillary, God bless her, isn't the most sly fox in the pack. As a matter of fact, she's not so good at cloaking the obvious, when it comes to her political manuverings. I mean, this is the same person that, when it was all but an acknowledged fact that she would run in 2008 for the presidency, denied, or rather begged off those ambitions.
No, she would gently chuckle to herself, her focus was serving the great Empire State (New York), and keeping her focus on her (lowly and meek) Senatorial duties. Nevermind that as a junior Senator, she was on all of the "right" (read: high powered) committees, and making trips to review the troops over in Afghanistan and Iraq (very stately, but pray tell, how did this serve the people in New York?).
Now, I read an article on Yahoo news, that states what anyone (should) already know; Hillary will take Barack Obama on her ticket as her Vice Presidential Candidate.
When I was a younger adult in the early 90s, we had a saying that went "As IF!"...as in 'As IF' she would have things any other way. Do any of us really see HER bowing down to a second-in-command spot on that ticket? "As IF"...as in 'as if' any other combination would deliver her the Whitehouse, the realization of a 30 plus year dream?
Does she really need to make a statement of intent, should she win the nomination? Come on, girl! While I find that her coquettish statements bordeline cute, they can be also as annoying as someone who has seen a movie, blurts out a line, and then lies about ever having seen the movie. (Come on, I know I'm not the only one who's encountered this person).
Hillary Clinton with anyone else as her running mate? As IF!
